primary resources for using ICT in all subjects

It will be very useful to have a central area where specific ICT resources for all the subjects can be organised, reviewed and added to. There are many lists of resources and links out there on some of the LEA sites, but they are seldom kept up to date due to the difficulty of finding someone with the authority and time to do so. So let's copy the best ones in here, mix them up, refine and develop further and if anyone is unlucky enough to follow a bad link, well they can fix it there and then.

Some good resource lists to check out are

ICT is considered an important discrete subject and has a compulsory curriculum. Most of it was written at least ten years ago, but its currently being reviewed. In reality it needs to be reveiwed every year not once a decade, so schools need to adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of today's children with today's technology.

The National Curriculum comprises of the four core subjects,
Mathematics, English, Science and Information Communication Technology,
together with the foundation subjects of Information Technology,
Design Technology, Geography, History, Art, Music and Physical Education.
