This week we decided who are school councillors for the next couple of terms. Summer made a great job of making a speech to encourage her classmates to vote for her. She took the Easi-speak home and after a few practice goes managed to record her speech. Well done, Summer.

The 07 AllStars from Sydney, Australia.

A group of students from Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 who love to write, blog and enjoy commenting and communicating with other schoolkids from countries far away. This year using games in class -including the Nintendo wii as part of their PE program! They hope to make our own computer games later in the year.

Blogs using the Mantle of the Expert method

This is role-play/drama based. It's being used in the UK, particularly in Essex where teachers are being encouraged to set up blogs to show-case their projects.

An aide helps a pre-schooler to prepare a spider plant as a Mother's Day gift. I believe I benefited greatly from growing plants when I was young. Now, I find it important to help kids to grow in a sense of responsibility for creation.
