All performances seem to be going ahead tonight after the chaos of yesterday. Although most say you should try to ring the theatre before you set off this can be very difficult. It is almost impossible to get through to them as almost everyone is ringing to check.

Things should be back to normal by Tuesday night. Theatregoers are being advised to contact theatres before starting out. If your show does get cancelled, then you should contact your tour operator (as per confirmation email) to find out what options are available.

The heavy snowfall affecting London travel conditions shouldn’t affect most West End shows according to information coming to London Theatre Breaks. If you are booked onto a theatre break then it’s best to go ahead with your journey if at all possible, and find a way to get to your hotel. In fact the conditions at present could make a stray in central London quite magical, with the lack of traffic on the streets and beautiful snowy cityscapes. A lot of Londoners are staying at home instead of going to work but most facilities for visitors should be open, including many underground lines.
Theatregoers are being advised to contact theatres before starting out, although the only performance that has been officially cancelled so far is the ENO’s La Boheme – English National Opera.
If things do get worse and your show does get cancelled, then you should contact your tour operator (as per confirmation email) to find out what options are available.
