Posted by admin in : Vaudeville , trackback

Following The Importance of being Earnest with Penelope Keith, The Vaudeville theatre in the Strand is continuing the drama series with “The Deep Blue Sea”

The title is reference to the phrase “caught between the devil and the deep blue sea” denoting a hopeless dilemma, in this case about love. A powerful drama of passion versus loyalty, a clergyman’s daughter who is also the wife of a judge is the drowning woman in the painful ending of a messy affair.
