Stomp and Free Hotel Breaks

Stomp is a great show to see during the summer holidays and now you can book a weekday (including Fridays!) performance in August, or even the first week of September, and get a free night in a three star London hotel. This is the great new summer offer from Show and Stay via London Theatre Breaks. You could see Stomp for as little as £45 per person including your hotel!

The Stomp Offer – dates and performances

Weekday performances from Friday August 1st – Friday 5th of September covered by the offer:

Mondays – 8pm
Thursdays evenings – 8pm
Friday evenings – 8pm

No shows on Tuesdays and Wednesday

The Hotels

You can either choose from a range of a 3* hotels and pay nothing, or even upgrade to a luxurious 4* hotel for as little as £10. Some of the hotels are very close to the theatre others are further out. Choosing which you want really depends on what you want to do with the rest of your stay.

The Stage says Stomp is changing its performance times from February 25. They will play:

Mondays and Friday evenings only – 8pm

Thursdays, Saturdays – Matinee at 3 pm

Thursdays,Saturdays – evenings – 8pm.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays : no shows

Sundays matinee: 2pm,

Sunday evening: 5pm.

Stomp recently extended its run and is now booking through to October 2008. New talent is being recruited at auditions all over the country and the shows seems as popular as ever.

It seems inevitable that more West End theatres are likely to open Sunday evenings. The Lion King already has already introduced an extra Sunday performance. Unions are not happy though, with Bectu in particular trying to hold back the tide.

Stomp! Regional Auditions Dates

Stomp recently held auditions in London now they are looking for talent in the regions. So if you are a bundle of energy with a great sense of rhythm and you fancy strutting your stuff at the Ambassadors why not have a go? They say:

If you have a sense of rhythm and a sense of humour, and would like to audition in the future, send your details to auditions@stomp.co.uk and we will contact you when the next round of auditions come up.
Auditions will be held in the UK in the following cities on the following dates: Leeds 9th July; Manchester 10th July; Birmingham 11th July Brighton 23rd July. Any call backs will take place in Brighton on the 24th, 25th ad 26th July

Registration by email only before 6th July 2007 to auditions@stomp.co.uk providing the following details: name, contact address and telephone number.
