Dirty Dancing is one of the best selling musicals for London theatre breaks. People travelling from all over the UK for hotel and theatre breaks in London just love it, but in particular there’s a big fan base in Yorkshire .

Who’d have guessed it? I thought Billy Elliot might be the number one choice but I’d have been wrong. Dirty Dancing theatre breaks extended until 2009
I can’t believe it’s nearly a year and a half since Dirty Dancing opened, and now this most popular West End musical has been extended until at least 17th October 2009. Chances are they’ll still be selling out during the London Olympics!
Dirty Dancing Story
The story of Dirty Dancing is set in the early nineteen sixties, with teenager Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman with her family at a holiday camp. Then she falls in love with a streetwise dance teacher from the wrong side of town.

The music from the blockbuster film Dirty Dancing has been rewritten for the winning West End stage production.
Dirty Dancing stars are currently Josef Brown as Johnny Castle and Sarah Manton as Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman. James Powell directs, with choreography by Kate Champion.
