A student teacher in Holland posted this great set of images from her whole school. It would be lovely to ditch the national curriculum for a week and do something like this right across the school!

Our school just finished a project around creation myths. Every class examined a different subject.
Group 7 (my classes) did research on the beginning of the earth: birds, reptiles, amfibians, humans, dinosaurs, and also the big bang, darwin and the 7 world wonders.Shown is the BIRD group
