An art/technology based display using embroidery techniques to fasten materials together.
She says:
We mounted these by cutting up and painting toilet roll tubes with black, blue and purple poster paints and dipping them. When they were dry we just stapled the tubes to the backing and hung the masks through. The children used straws for the handles. The border is just coloured cellophane in blue and purple. We made the moon with bits of tissue paper and ribbons, threads, glitter and PVA and left it to dry on cling film before peeling it off and cutting it out.
